Several CMCA members have discovered this neat trick! Winnebago have a less than ideal step tread method. They use good quality rubber mat glued in place. This works well and looks great BUT it is an absolute nightmare to clean. It can't be done without a portable vacuum cleaner. If you pop mats on the steps these tend to slip and can be dangerous. Of course if Winnie could find mats with the grooves running at 45 degrees then the problem would be instantly solved. You can see these on any Sprinter cab. The solution below really works and is easy to make. Some versions have carpet glued on. The handles don't get in the way and make removal a breeze. A great project to put you in the little ladies good books!
